Dubai Pharmacy College for Girls is proud to announce that Prof. Ashraf Khalil has joined our college as a Professor of Medicinal Chemistry in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

We are pleased to announce the addition of Sahar Elnajjar to our college. With over 13 years of pharmacy practice experience, including five years at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital as a Clinical Pharmacist, Dr. Elnajjar brings specialized expertise in infectious diseases, antimicrobial stewardship, and parenteral nutrition to our team.

Dubai Pharmacy College for Girls continues to demonstrate its commitment to cutting-edge research with the recent publication of a review article led by Dr. Semira Beshir and her coauthors. The article, titled "Advancements and Challenges in Anti-amyloid Therapy for Alzheimer's Disease (AD),"

We are pleased to share that the research work of our talented fourth-year students, Fathima Fairoz, Tafika Yousef, Yousra Asser, and Reem Mohamed Ather, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Sammour, has been successfully published in the prestigious European Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences during the month of August 2024.

On the 12Th August , 2024, DPC was delighted to announce the successful completion of our first internship program with Abbott for our BPharm students ( Marwa Hadi and Jumana Al Ansarri ).

 Dubai Pharmacy College for Girls (DPCG), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Abbott Company.  

In a landmark move to enhance the quality of pharmacy education across the UAE, Dubai Pharmacy College teamed up with the Colleges of Pharmacy at Al-Ain University and Gulf Medical University to launch a unified exit exam initiative.

First Year students at Dubai Pharmacy College showcased their exceptional projects for the UAE Society course, highlighting influential UAE leaders and their contributions to national development.  

Prof. Mirza R. Baig along with the group of researchers from King Abdul Aziz University (KAAU), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia conducted a study among hypertensive patients and analyzed the process of selecting antihypertensive medications based on biological markers.

Saeed Ahmad Lootah Charity Foundation hosted the Elite Dialogue Forum on June 4, 2024, at Mohammed Bin Rashid Library in Dubai. The event focused on the theme "The Culture of Medical Tolerance" and featured H.E. Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance, and Dr. Hussam Muwafy as the main speakers.

Dubai Pharmacy College for Girls (DPCG) participated in the American College of Clinical Pharmacy's (ACCP) Virtual Poster Symposium (VPS), showcasing innovative research, and fostering academic exchange.  

Dr. Bazigha represents Dubai Pharmacy College at Al Shola Private School Graduation Ceremony for the Academic Year 2023-2024 as a guest of honor. The event took place on Friday, May 31, 2024.

On March 20, 2024 Dubai Pharmacy College joined the Academic Institutional Membership (AIM) of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).
FIP is the global body representing pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences and pharmaceutical education.

Dubai Pharmacy College for Girls organized a visit to the Dubai Police, Department of Forensic Sciences and Criminology. The visit offered a valuable opportunity for our students to explore and learn first-hand about clinical toxicology, and forensic sciences.

On March 4, 2024 Dean Sherief Khalifa held his first meeting with DPCG students. This was an excellent opportunity for students to connect with their new dean to discuss his vision for the College and listen to their thoughts, ideas and ambitions.

Dubai Pharmacy College organized a fire safety training session. At our College we believe that such vital fire safety knowledge and skills are necessary to ensure safety at the workplace.

Basic Life Support training session was conducted for faculty, Staff and Students. This initiative is part of spreading the culture of preparedness and community care.

Students, faculty, and staff joined hands to celebrate the unique heritage and traditions that each of us brings to the table. It was a day filled with laughter, learning, and a deep appreciation for the rich of cultures that make up our college family.
