Dubai Medical University well represented at the 32nd World Education Summit

On April 22, 2025, Prof. Sherief Khalifa, Vice Chancellor – Academic Affairs and Dean, College of Pharmacy, was a speaker/panelist at the 32nd World Education Summit (WES) 2025, held in Dubai, UAE.

WES 2025 brought together top education leaders in an invite-only gathering focused on reimagining education for a global world. With over 250 participants, 100+ higher education leaders, and 30+ exhibitors, the summit served as a premier platform for innovation, networking, and transformative dialogue.

Prof. Sherief contributed insights into academic leadership, global partnerships, transnational education and future-ready graduates, reflecting DMU's commitment to academic excellence and innovation.

Professor Khalifa commented: “The summit was a great opportunity to meet with leaders in higher education from the entire region. It was an excellent platform for sharing experiences, thoughts and views with the aim of advancing higher education globally”.
