College of Pharmacy Research Day 2025
Dubai Medical University, College of Pharmacy, hosted The Research Day 2025, celebrating the outstanding efforts and achievements of the senior students as they presented their final research projects.
The event started with opening remarks by Prof. Sherief Khalifa, Vice Chancellor – Academic Affairs and Dean, College of Pharmacy, who emphasized the importance of nurturing a culture of inquiry and innovation in pharmacy education.
We were pleased to welcome Dr. Hamzah Al Zubaidi, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacotherapeutics at the College of Pharmacy, University of Sharjah, as our keynote speaker. His lecture, entitled “Integrating prediabetes screening and prevention in community pharmacies: formative evaluation and feasibility findings from the PREDICT study,” offered valuable insights into translational research and community healthcare.
Students presented a variety of research projects through both poster and oral presentations, addressing key challenges in the pharmaceutical and healthcare fields. Oral presenters demonstrated strong professionalism and a solid grasp of their topics. Faculty members and evaluators actively supported the session by offering valuable feedback and guidance.
The day concluded with a recognition and certification ceremony, followed by a warm, lively student-organized gathering that brought faculty and students together to commemorate the end of an important chapter.
