Dubai Pharmacy College Joins Membership of International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP)

On March 20, 2024 Dubai Pharmacy College joined the Academic Institutional Membership (AIM) of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).

FIP is the global body representing pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences and pharmaceutical education. Through its 144 national organizations, academic institutional members and individual members, FIP represents over four million pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists and pharmaceutical educators around the world. Founded in 1912, FIP is a non-governmental organization with its head office in the Netherlands.

Dubai Pharmacy College is the first in UAE established in 1992. It currently offers the BPharm and the MPharm – Clinical Pharmacy degree programs. The BPharm is internationally accredited by the US Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE). Over the years, the College has developed key partnerships and clinical training agreements with numerous healthcare facilities and pharmaceutical industries across UAE and abroad. Examples of such collaborations include Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Fakeeh University Hospital, American Hospital Dubai and University of Strathclyde, UK.

Dean Sherief Khalifa will be representing the College in Global Academic Leaders Forum at 82nd FIP World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences on 1 – 4 September 2024, Cape Town, South Africa.
